Malouf uses an eco-friendly manufacturing process that derives the latex from a variety of rubber trees. The sap is taken from these tropical trees and then poured into a mold, chilled and then heated in order to form the foam’s consistency. The pin-core design provides the utmost in support and comfort and is designed to cradle your head, while giving your shoulders and neck the needed support. Talalay is considered to be the most consistent and resilient latex available on the market today.
Natural Latex
The pillow is made of 100% natural Talalay latex, with no added synthetic materials. It is completely hypoallergenic, and is dust mite resistant, antimicrobial and mildew proof. The latex conforms to your body’s movements and provides consistent support. It keeps its original form, meaning that it is resilient and never needs fluffing. It will always be in the shape and form that gives you the most comfort. The latex is breathable, so the pillow will not get too hot, as other pillows can.
Don’t confuse this latex technology with memory foam, as they are quite different. While the Talalay latex pillow conforms to your body, it never loses its shape; that is, it will return to its original shape every time. With memory foam, the pillow ‘remembers’ your body shape and will stay in that position until you change it by fluffing it or turning it over, etc.
The zoned latex differs from shredded latex. Without making things too complicated, one process shreds the latex into smaller pieces and placed into a bamboo cover. They come in different thickness levels and you can choose from a firm or plush style. The company has tried to accommodate everyone’s preferences by offering a variety of choices. When it comes to sleep, everyone is unique.
The pillow is backed by a 5-year warranty, giving you extra peace of mind, and more reasons to sleep easy at night.
The pillow conforms to your body’s movements and provides excellent support for your neck, back and shoulders. No matter what your favorite sleeping position is, you won’t suffer from sore or stiff muscles.
Cons:
